Panorama of Winery Yard and Lotus Pool

I completed this work, which depicts the Winery Yard and Lotus Pool, a famous scenic spot in my hometown Hangzhou, in 9th grade and presented it to my junior high school as a valedictorian in the graduation ceremony.

These semi-finished works were created by me in my spare time. The real situation of how a STEM student loves and plays with art consistently has the strongest power.

Painting and photography, though not in my professional field, will be pursued continuously by me. On the one hand, these are all my hobbies, from which I will discover the beauty of life and record it. On the other hand, I will also gain the true essence of life, such as how the black and white, the day and night, and the truth and fallacy, can be explicitly contradictory but internally intertwined, mutually infiltrated and impregnated. Nature has already arranged all this beauty. Let’s enjoy it.
